The First Aid At Work Course (HSE Approved) is an 18 hour course run over 3 days. Depending on the risk of the workplace and number of employees, companies may require one or more qualified members of staff on shift at all times. Companies who deal with members of the public may also want to consider having a FAW qualified employee at hand at all times.
We offer the full Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved First Aid at Work course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience, for example, clerical or engineering staff. The First Aid at Work course is run over three days and includes both theory and practical sessions.

Emergency First Aid At Work (1 day)The Emergency First Aid At Work course is a 6 hour course run over 1 day. Depending on the risk of the workplace and number of employees, companies may require one or more qualified members of staff on shift at all times. Companies who deal with members of the public may also want to consider having several EFAW qualified employees at hand at all times.
We offer the new HSE Approved Emergency First Aid at Work. This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience and is ideal for lower risk businesses, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. The course is run over one day and includes both theory and practical sessions, in a relaxed atmosphere, designed to boost a candidate's confidence.

Certification
is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there
is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed
to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate
that is valid for three years*.
Paediatric (Child & Baby) First Aid Courses We
have a range of Paediatric (Child & Baby) Courses on offer which
specifically deal with First Aid procedures for Children and Babies.
We have 2 hour courses for parents right up to full OFSTED recognised
Paediatric courses (Basic and Full) for nursery and school staff,
childminders, nannies etc. Child & Baby Life Support for Parents (2 hours) Around 80% of parents don't know what to do in an emergency. Around 27% of parents have already had to deal with a choking incident and it is what they most worry about. CHOKING is amongst the most common causes of accidental death of UK children. This course is part of the "get in the know!"
campaign, aimed at parents of young children and babies highlighting
the importance of First Aid training for parents. It is a 2 hour
course and covers a range of scenarios, including those which parents
worry about most, Choking, Unconsciousness, CPR procedure and
Bleeding. The skills
learned on this 2 hour course really could save a child's life or at
very least gives parents peace of mind that they are prepared should
they find themselves in an emergency situation. Cost of this 2 hour course is just £25 and all participants (or £20 each for 2 parents/friends). Contact Us to book your place! Full Paediatric Course (12 hours) The
full 12 hour course is in line with the statutory framework for the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and also meets the requirements
of OFSTED. The Full Paediatric Course is a 12 hour
course run over two days. This course is suitable for child minders,
nursery and school staff and anybody who deals with children and wants
a more in depth course. The course includes: Basic Paediatric Course (6 hours) The Basic
Paediatric Course is a 6 hour course run over one day and is suitable
for nannies who want to join the voluntary part of the OFSTED Childcare
Register (OCR). The course is also suitable for parents and anybody
who cares for children and would like a basic insight of first aid for
children. The course includes:For
both Full and Basic Paediatric Courses, certification is dependant on
successful assessment of the delegate, there is no final examination.
Those delegates who complete the course and are deemed to have reached
the required standard, are awarded a certificate that is valid for
three years.
